Fueling Tomorrow
Our commitment to pure and premium Ethanol
Unlock the Potential of Ethanol: A Sustainable Energy Solution
Discover the benefits of ethanol, our eco-friendly biofuel derived directly from molasses. Ethanol is produced through a meticulous process that includes enzyme digestion to release sugars from stored starches, fermentation, distillation, and drying. This process ensures the highest quality, purity, and adherence to environmental standards.
Molasses, a valuable byproduct, serves as the raw material for our ethanol production. As an eco-friendly fuel, ethanol acts as an oxygenate, containing a high percentage of oxygen that promotes complete combustion and reduces harmful vehicular emissions. Recognizing its environmental advantages, the government has mandated a 5% ethanol blend with petrol in nine states and four union territories since October 1, 2003.
Our two distilleries in Bihar boast a combined installed capacity of 155 KLPD. Explore the transformative potential of ethanol—a natural, sustainable, and versatile energy solution that underscores our commitment to environmental responsibility.
A Sustainable Biofuel Solution
Ethanol, also known as industrial ethanol, ethyl alcohol, or pure ethanol, is a volatile, flammable, and colorless liquid derived from molasses. As a widely recognized biofuel, particularly in Brazil, ethanol is produced through the fermentation of sugars sourced from wheat, corn, sugar beets, sugar cane, molasses, and other sugar or starch-containing materials. The production process involves enzyme digestion to release sugars from stored starches, followed by fermentation, distillation, and drying, with the distillation process requiring significant energy input for heat.
Ethanol’s versatility makes it an excellent substitute for gasoline in petrol engines or a suitable additive in various proportions. Most conventional car engines can efficiently operate on blends containing up to 15% bioethanol mixed with petroleum or gasoline. Additionally, ethanol is utilized in bioethanol fireplaces, which are particularly suitable for new-build homes and environments where flueless heating is preferred.
